A small women-owned café in Friedrichshain. Espresso and cappuccino from Berliner Kaffeerösterei beans, matcha and fruit smoothies, breakfast plates, bagels and bowls, and cakes baked in-house. Plenty of it vegan, some of it gluten-free, all of it from 8:30 in the morning.

Kupfer Kanne sits on Frankfurter Allee between U5 Samariterstraße and Frankfurter Tor, with a green awning, a few tables on the pavement and a room of plants, green tiles and red armchairs inside. It is run by women, and the reviews mention the same thing over and over: the people behind the counter.
The coffee is made from Berliner Kaffeerösterei beans. Next to it there is a full matcha and smoothie board, breakfast plates with scrambled eggs, avocado or hummus, named bagels like Meeresliebe and Geschmacks Boom, bowls, pretzel baguettes and a gluten-free sandwich. The cake counter is baked in-house, and whole cakes can be pre-ordered for the next day.

Tai Hsuan · GoogleAbsolutely loved the vibes! My coffee latte was delicious, and the cheesecake and carrot cake were also very yummy. Accepts card payments, which is always a plus.
